Overview

Sev1Tech is searching for a Program Manager with experience in building and improving enterprise network environments. The Program Manager will lead Service Improvement activities and support the design, implementation, and operation of meshONE-Terrestrial (T), a scalable, resilient, cybersecure data transport network supporting United States Space Force (USSF) and Air Force (USAF) missions.

meshONET is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an endtoend network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains. * Directs and provides leadership to the meshONE-T Service Improvement team in accordance with existing procedures, applicable laws, and government requirements. * Oversees configuration managers, quality assurance auditors, systems engineers, knowledge managers, field subject matter experts, IT specialists, and systems integrators in the execution of duties that may include preparing proposals, writing contract terms and conditions, engineering services, site surveys, hardware and software configuration management, systems training, and reviewing contractual obligations. * Implements government programs through a risk and oversight approach for all phases of program activities; identifies risks and problems, proposes solutions, and provides timely and accurate contract deliverables. * Develops and interprets policies in specific program areas, and provides leadership, coordination, and authoritative advice to Space Systems Command (SSC) leadership at Los Angeles AFB, resulting in the formulation and execution of progressive and comprehensive programs that meet mission objectives. * Directs, administers, and evaluates meshONE-T programs, policies, and procedures in the required program areas. * Assures compliance of program activities with laws and regulations. * Ensures the effective management of the assigned program areas.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of applicable experience listed in the roles and responsibilities
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other similar degree; without the Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 yrs. will be required.
  • Experience managing complex IT infrastructure buildouts.
  • Strong oral and written skills able to talk with technical subject matter experts, government civilians, and military personnel of varying rank.
  • Excellence in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook, etc.)
  • Travel: 25% to surrounding USSF and USAF bases (Buckley, Peterson, Schriever) and the northern Denver area (Boulder, Westminster) as required SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret/SCI Eligible

Qualifications

  • Prior military experience is a plus.
  • Management of a configuration management, quality assurance, systems integration, and/or service improvement team on an ACAT 1 program
