HPC Industrial Field Supervisor in Westlake, Louisiana

HPC-Industrial , Powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Robotics Field Supervisor to join their safety conscious team! This team member is responsible for two or more crews by planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the service line crew. This includes responsibility over proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion. Ensures compliance with all Company policies/procedures and maintains/improves good customer relations by providing quality, timely industrial cleaning services. The Robotics Field Supervisor serves as representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • Must be able to get to and from airport or other meeting point where the company will provide transportation to and from the job site.

  • Must be willing to travel for up to 2 months at a time

  • Must be able to pass a background check

  • Must be able to pass a hair follicle, breath, and urine drug tests.

  • Must be willing to work up to 84 hours weekly.

  • Must be able to perform manual labor such as picking up and carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • Must be dependable and always maintain a good work ethic.

  • Must be able to wear full HazMat PPE and enter a confined space for extended periods of time.

  • Must have at-least 3 years’ experience managing crews on Industrial sites

  • Must have a TWIC card

  • Have the ability to manage jobs up to 300k in revenue

  • Must have completed 150 hours of Stick Time or related robotic training.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions.

  • Assist Branch and Operations Manager(s) Customer, Future Sales or Business Development positions in relaying the necessary Operational information between them and the Division Manager.

  • Assist manufacturing, design and Technical Support to solve challenges to customer projects. While ensuring that a system of communication to the operations manager is in place so that it can be easily communicated to upper management.

  • Maintain all project paperwork, including but not limited to regarding payroll, invoicing, job logs, job tickets, per diem and other financial paperwork is maintained in orderly fashion and turned into the correct home office support member.

  • Drive in-plant on project activities involving industrial, ROV, Automation and robotic operations. Increase market share through Operational preparedness and abilities. Work with Engineering and Fabrication to improve systematic cleaning processes to reduce overall expenditures and provide a more encompassing service. Project planning and management of equipment to ensure the customers qualifications, specifications, and needs are met in a timely manner.

  • Work Closely with Industrial Project Engineering department, in regard to the proper tooling and equipment needed to ensure that a clear, concise and continual flow of communications and information are in place in regard to upcoming customer opportunities that can be effortlessly translated to Project Managers to go out and perform with success

  • Overseeing the setup of robotic projects.

  • Set Project Goals and objectives.

  • Be the final site authority on conflict resolution, and performance evaluations for all direct hire personnel at the job site

  • Operate equipment according to procedures and safe practices

  • Ability to follow orders from site supervisory personnel

  • Donning and doffing HazMat PPE and entering confined spaces to aid in the cleaning of large storage tanks.

  • Hands-on operation of H5, H6, H7, H8, Manway and Viper Cannons(s) to meet customer expectations

  • Leads by example and trains Technicians and Operators on-the-job in equipment operation, site operations, and safe work practices

  • Required to supervise shift work

  • May schedule Job and crews

  • Oversee the development of the master project schedule.

  • Develop and submit for approval the overall project execution plan.

  • Review critical path and near critical path activities and implement time saving ideas.

  • Inspects equipment, work area, and crew prior to starting any job.

  • Completes all appropriate paperwork including service receipts and submits them to management.

  • Support Sales with job walks and project planning assistance.

  • Oversee the overall project execution.

  • Additional duties as assigned

Working Environment:

  • Industrial setting, refinery, petrochemical, utilities, pulp and paper mills, etc.

  • Outside in all elements and conditions.

  • Inside of confined spaces with full HazMat apparel including breathing air lines or respirators

Skills and Experience:

  • At-least 3 years job related experience
