Direct Hire position! Our client is a regional leader providing janitorial and packaging supplies to industries in the Cedar Valley. Our client offers a clean and safe workplace. They strive to balance providing strong customer service with a fun and respectful work environment! 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse and forklift skills is required. Location: Cedar Falls, Iowa Pay: $20/Hour Hours: 1^st^ shift 8:00am-4:30pm - there may be occasional overtime needed - shifts may need to start earlier, run longer, or weekend work may be required The ideal candidate will have a solid work history in material handling, forklift operation, and warehouse experience. Warehouse experience should include shipping or receiving functions, inventory counts, and pick and pack tasks. Job Responsibilities:

• Use a forklift or electronic pallet jack to pick and stage orders and deliver them to the dock
• Assist in reviewing orders to ensure accuracy and loading delivery trucks for the next day's deliveries
• Use a computerized system or order sheets to pick items and update inventory - must be experienced with RF scanners
• Rotate and replenish stock as needed
• Assisting with inventory cycle counts
• Other duties as assigned

Skill Requirements:

• Ability to read, interpret and comprehend documents such as training instructions, shipping tickets, procedure manuals, etc. at a fast pace
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and reach for 8-10 hours
• Regularly lift 40-60 pounds and lift up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to wear personal protection (ear plugs and safety glasses)
• Read, understand, and communicate all safety and operational procedures
• Work in a team environment and be flexible when production needs change
