Opportunity Overview:

Join us as a Data Science Expert where you will play a pivotal role in making cross-customer data available to your colleagues throughout the organization and building high-impact models & benchmarks. This position is ideal for those who excel at the intersection of development, data science, and strategic business decision-making.

What You Will Do:

• Act as the "voice of the customer" within our product team, ensuring that all efforts deliver tangible value to data scientists.

• Challenge Product Managers/Owners and developers to create features that simplify the lives of data scientists at SAP.

• Vet high-value use cases with our product lines of business using your experience and intuition to prioritize data areas and use cases.

• Probably the most exciting part: Participate in 1-3 projects per year, hands-on, helping to build data pipelines, scripts, and train models, plus support deployments to stay connected with business operations.

• Evangelize our products to other data scientists, demonstrating how you utilize them. Note: this does not involve extensive content creation as support is available.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in integrating AI with enterprise software solutions.

• Experience in scoping, validating, developing, and deploying enterprise AI at SAP or other large tech companies.

• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional projects.

• Direct experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and managing complex team dynamics.

• Solid grasp of cloud computing frameworks and a commitment to upholding data privacy standards.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Strong skills in SQL for ETL and Python for ML development.

• Familiarity with Node.js, BTP development, Scala, R, Fiori is a plus.
