JBT Corporation Systems Installation Engineers- Automated Guided Vehicles (Robotics)- HC/EM in United States

This position will be remote and you will work from home when not travelling to a customer's site. Candidates must live within an hour of a major airport and have a valid driver's license. Desired locations for candidates to currently live: Columbus, OH; Detroit, MI; or Seattle, WA Responsibilities Performs system installation of autonomous guided vehicles and peripheral equipment at customer locations (chargers, I/O panels, operator interfaces, etc.). Responsible for Installing, testing, and debugging the system. Travel of (50%) domestically required. On occassion- internationally to customer sites Modifying equipment and software. Troubleshooting, defining, and seeking resources to recognize and resolve electrical, mechanical and/or software improvement opportunities with system components. Making software and hardware adjustments. Monitors system performance metrics. Performing customer training. Interfacing with customers. Collaborating with other engineers on projects. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering required. Disciplines of engineering includes Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics preferrred. Experience with computer programming languages is required Javascript, C#, C++, Python, MATLAB, Visual Basic preferred. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
