International Engineering Internship

International Engineering Internships are available for students that are attending universities outside the United States. International students attending U.S. universities are not eligible for this internship.

We support our customers by innovating new concepts from conventional powertrains to electric and hybrid vehicles to alternative energy applications as they move toward production. We are active in the automotive, heavy-duty, marine, off-highway and recreational markets.

FEV engineers constantly pursue new ideas we redefine possible every day. FEV offers students the opportunity to work in a highly motivated engineering team. Each engineering intern is an integral part of a team, receives project tasks and responsibilities within the group, and is mentored as the project develops.

The tasks include but are not limited to:

• Engine dynamometer testing of diesel and gasoline engines

• Vehicle testing

• Transmission testing

• Engine and transmission design

• All the associated data handling and processing

• Automotive electronic development and telematic

Because of the complexity of the tasks encountered each day by our interns, FEV prefers a minimum internship duration of six months. We offer an excellent compensation package as well as the opportunity for interns to complete a thesis as part of the project they are working on.
