Job purpose

As part of the Corporate Reporting and Analytics Center of Excellence(CoE), this position will work with a variety of process teams, individuals, and systems to provide solutions, participate in governance, and to support stakeholders. Successful execution of this role will require the individual to exemplify Curiosity and Courage while displaying all other Albemarle Core Values. This is a dynamic role that allows a successful candidate to come up with inventive solutions while developing business, process, and technical acumen to further enhance their skillset for this and future roles.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:

Solutions

  • Create, analyze, and deploy analytics solutions through Business Intelligence and process acumen

  • Act as the subject matter expert on the reporting layers of all analytics scenarios

  • Recommend and implement process and reporting improvements

  • Prototype and define data solutions using ad-hoc tools

  • Prototype, define, and develop reporting and visualization scenarios

  • Participate in the Analytics and IT Change management cycles.

  • Consult in identification, development, and continued maintenance of the approved reporting and analytics toolset across the organization

Governance

  • Participate in the reporting governance process, ensuring only appropriate reports and metrics are published and available to users, and that they are appropriately validated and documented

  • Work with RFS Architects, and other analytics stakeholders to manage corporate metrics and maintain one version of the truth throughout the corporation

Direct Stakeholder Support

  • Participate in the incident management process to ensure a high level of responsiveness to stakeholders problems and requests

  • Develop training materials such as quick reference guides, recorded sessions, and any other method required for training scenarios

  • Directly train stakeholders in live one-on-one or group training sessions

  • Train stakeholders on appropriate use of data with analytics.

  • Provide expertise to all analytics stakeholders as a reporting/analytics tool, data, process, and reporting content expert across SAP environments and Analytics tools, including S/4 HANA, Fiori, Core Data Services (CDS), BW, Web Intelligence, Design Studio, Power BI etc.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related scientific application

  • 3+ Strong experience in Reporting and Creating Dashboards

  • Strong experience working with IT teams, Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing Tool

  • Fluent in English

  • Self-starter with the ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly

  • Experience translating business needs into project requirements

  • High attention to detail

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skill

  • Knowledge in SAP, SAP S/4, SAP Fiori, SAP Business Warehouse (BW), HANA Enterprise, and/or SAP Business Objects development and/or support

  • High energy, self-starter, motivated, and action oriented
