Overview

Performs a wide range of locksmith and electronic access system duties, including the installation, maintenance and repair of locks, doors and hardware; opening of locks on doors and safes; and the changing of lock combinations. Installs, adjust, repair and open lock. Also change lock combinations and make keys.

Responsibilities

• Service orders

• Preventive Maintenance

• Duplication of Keys

• Non-Value-added work (Shop clean-up and Tools Inventory)

• Performs other duties and assignments as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications

• Foreign National

• A local driver’s license is required

• Education/Experience:

• High school diploma is required or equivalent.

• Requires as a minimum of 5 years working experience in the locksmith trade, must have experience with X07, X08 and X09 type digital safe locks.

• Program Specific Requirements:

• Possess knowledge of safety and environmental issues as they relate to locksmith services.

• Be familiar with various Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• Knowledge of duplicating keys, repair and replacement of Cipher locks electronic and mechanical type.
