Perform all activities necessary for an Inspection Data Management System Technician.
Duties & Responsibilities
IDMS Technician shall gather all required data from inspection and survey reports.
Upload readings from online data recorders with appropriate instruments for corrosion monitoring locations into the Inspection Information System (RBMI- Risk Based Management Inspection).
Operates the Inspection Information System and RBMI systems to update inspection data and inspection plans, and ensure backups of data recovery when required.
To provide all administrative activities related to inspection activities such as processing user access, file organization processing emails, and the like.
Able to work from P&ID and isometric drawings and written specifications, and be able to calculate areas of simple structures for the purpose of coating refurbishment.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Shall possess necessary qualification in inspection practices and corrosion mitigation
Experience and good working knowledge of Inspection Management System (IMS) and Risk Base Inspection (RBMI) API 580/581.
Education and/or Experience
Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Oil and Gas Industry in the field of inspection and corrosion monitoring and prevention activities.
This position is considered ONSHORE/OFFSHORE which is characterized as follows.
Almost exclusively indoors/outdoors during the day and occasionally at night
Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place
Work surface is stable (flat)

The security background check shall include a security assessment and criminal history check issued by the competent authorities in the GCC.
