Oracle Senior User Experience Designer in India

  • Designing product user experience for Oracle Communications applications.

  • Playing a crucial role in ensuring that products, solutions , or digital experiences are elegant , user-friendly, consistent and meet the requirements of UX/UI products roadmap strategies.

  • Creating sketches , wireframes, Mochups or prototypes, and interaction patterns that outline the behaviour and flow of a digital product and demonstrate best in class user experience including interaction flows, information architecture and designs.

  • Understanding product specifications and user psychology and creating new prototypes based on user testing and feedback

  • Working with UI designers to implement attractive designs and effectively communicating design ideas and prototypes to developers

  • Maintaining an active eye on the competitive market including new product releases and trends.

  • Using analytics together with a commercial mindset to deliver against business KPIs.

  • Enjoying working in a fast-paced environment, identifying market potential, investigating the adaption of new technologies and is both dynamic and flexible.

  • Displaying the ability to respond quickly to changing business needs, priorities, and timelines.

Skills and Experience

+ + 6 years of professional IT experience with minimum 3 years of experience of working in product user experience design.

  • Extensive experience in prototyping tools such as Figma , InVision, Axure and Mockplus

  • Experience in coding languages including HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • Experience in Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (OJET) is a plus.

  • Experience in Oracle Redwood Design Toolkit is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT/Telecommunications related.

  • Team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.

  • Outstanding verbal, written and creative advertising communications skills a must.

  • Fluent spoken and written English.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills are essential to articulate design decisions and advocate for the user’s perspective.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end product experience responsibility servicing a complex set of Oracle communications products and solutions.

  • Creating sketches , wireframes, Mochups or prototypes, and interaction patterns that outline the behaviour and flow of a digital product and demonstrate best in class user experience including interaction flows, information architecture and designs.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders, such as product management and product engineering, to define the UX/UI strategy and UI implementation plans of products.

  • Conducting user research activities, such as usability testing, and competitive analysis, to gather insights about user needs, behaviours, and preferences.

  • Conducting usability evaluations and heuristic reviews to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of a product’s user interface and proposing improvements based on the findings.

  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure that the user experience design aligns with business goals and technical constraints.

  • Following up for the performance of the executed designs on the basis of conversion rate and user heat maps

  • Building designs and artefacts that help solve identified problems, which will be validated and iterated on quickly based on user feedback.
