E/I&C Technician for a 500 MW coal-fired generation station near Vernal Utah

The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge and abilities required to work within our strict safety procedures to:

Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair plant electrical, instrumentation and control equipment to provide accurate, efficient, and safe control of power generation and associated auxiliaries.

This would include Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers, analog, digital, hydraulic and pneumatic positioners and transmitters, as well as temperature monitoring devices such as thermocouples and RTD's.

This would include Foxboro Distributed Control Systems (DCS), should also have working knowledge of pneumatic control valves and valve controllers using PID control.

Must be computer literate and able to read and interpret plant drawings.

Will be expected to work in a safe and efficient manner while completing job duties.

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years' experience in Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls at Journeyman level.

You must be able to meet deadlines under pressure.

Experience in a coal fired power plant or other industrial setting is preferable but not required.

Position is full time and you must be available to work as scheduled including over time when required.

Need to have a valid driver license with clean driving record to operate company equipment.
