Clark College Program Support Supervisor 2 – Transitional Studies in Vancouver, Washington

Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, permanent classified Program Support Supervisor 2 position. This position supervises staff at the Transitional Studies reception desk and oversees data management, compliance, as well as the planning, evaluation, and process improvement for Transitional Studies and Dual Enrollment programs in the Transitional Studies, English, Communications & Humanities unit. Dual Credit programs includes---but is not limited to: CTE Dual Credit, College in the High School, Running Start, and the iTech Early College partnership. This is a key role in ensuring that program operations and other administrative work supports the needs of the Transitional Studies programs.

Clark College Transitional Studies prepares students for college and careers. We offer English as a Second Language (ESL) and High School+ diploma (HS+) course options. Our English as a Second Language courses are offered at all levels and High School Completion courses provide credit toward the High School+ diploma and prepare students for the GED^®.^ All courses are contextualized, and competency based.

Ensure dual credit students are correctly enrolled and college credit earned by students is transcribed through Clark College.

Calculate student enrollment in dual credit and Transitional Studies and track CTE Dual Credit student participation, credits, and transition.

Create reports to identify missing CASAS tests and students without valid tests.

Report credits earned for all High School Credit Option students that are in the HS+ program into WABERS+ and verify the evaluation of transcripts for students that are entering the high school completion program.

Notify Pathway Advisors when evaluations are completed for students on their caseloads.

Determine graduation eligibility and track High School completions to notify the Transitional Studies Program Manager at the end of each quarter.

Track Credit for Prior Learning and notify the Transitional Studies Program Manager and run grade reports and update evaluations at end of each quarter.

Create the caseload lists each quarter for Pathway Advisors.

Review the class schedule and send errors to the Transitional Studies Division Chair.

Lead in-class registration sessions, helping student's login to their My Clark and providing entry codes to students when needed.

Serve as the initial point of contact for procedural information for dual credit programs, such as providing item numbers, registration forms, and deadlines.

Authorize student eligibility for the Transitional Studies tuition waiver.

Monitor compliance with articulation agreements between designated high school courses and Clark College courses for dual credit programs.

Notify the Associate Dean of Transitional Studies when agreements need to be renewed.

Prepare the end of the quarter WABERS+ data quality report for the Transitional Studies Program Manager.

Proctor during registration labs and drop-in testing as needed.

Serve as CASAS Cadre -- authorized to train others at Clark College to administer the CASAS test.

Monitor records retention schedule for programs, including document destruction and create notes for student recor
