Job Overview

A Sr Systems Engineer designs a complete and complex framework, system, or product. Define processes for technical platforms, system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility. Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes. Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses. Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems. You will engage in:

• Evaluation of current and future automotive high-voltage architectures

• Carrying out functional system development and system integration of electrical and mechatronic systems and components

• Development of system architectures and system specifications

• System analysis and system optimization using electrical and electrothermal simulation

• Deriving and decoding future product specifications

• Global and interdisciplinary coordination of system development and the innovation process for new electrical and mechatronic product developments in e-mobility

What your background should look like:

• Successfully completed master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or a comparable course of study

• At least 6-7 years of experience in e-mobility, with high-voltage systems and in advanced or product development

• Very good understanding of electrical correlations at the system level, especially for the battery, charging path, power electronic systems and electric drive technology systems

• Must be able to handle system simulation tools and requirements management systems

• Must have strong organizational skills, structured way of working, ability to systematically consider complex correlations.

• Must be a team player, with strong communication skills

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $111,040 - $166,560 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
