Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Junior Facility Coordinator to join our team. This positionprovide professional support to the Senior Facilities Manager. Provide customer service on facilities management issues raised.The role requires availability to work on customer site normal business day, Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 18:00.

Key Responsibilities:

· To monitor all activities relating to the site(s), reporting and taking action as appropriate.

· To conduct meter readings within all required buildings.

· To respond to requests for maintenance / technical assistance in person, via telephone and electronically.

· To research questions and solutions using available information resources, advising the Building Manager/SFM the appropriate actions.

· To identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.

· Route issues and requests to the correct resource, track progress and document resolutions

· To liaise with tenants and deal with any operational queries they might have.

· To work in conjunction with the customer ensuring a PPM and repair program is in place.

· To Support customer activities such as bolting down, regular facility patrol, cabling, and relevant support needed.

· Prepare activity reports and provide statistical data to the Building Manager to inform operational strategy.

• Ensure that emails and job queues are checked on a regular basis and actioned where necessary and completed within timeframes.

• Carry out racking/stacking, patching, break fix tasks, decommissioning, infrastructure installations, cabinet modifications and hardware tasks as per relevant procedure documents.

• To perform any other duties within your skill set as delegated by your Line Manager

• Ensure awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI’s/SLA’s is undertaken.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in data centre maintenance and repair, including experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the data centre's physical and network infrastructure or relevant experience.

• Experience with server and storage hardware and software, network devices, and other data centre equipment or relevant experience.

• Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Business English and Business/Conversational Japanese
