GPS Contracts:

Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) Contracts is comprised of professionals with expertise in a broad range of topics, including prime contracting, multiple award schedules, subcontracts, small business relationships, and client property. GPS Contracts provides support to GPS Practice engagement teams through all phases of the contract lifecycle from pre-award to contract close.

Work You'll Do

GPS Contracts Operations Senior Analyst possesses a working knowledge of government or commercial procurement principles. Supports contract and finance administration duties aligned with populating key contractual information into systems. Independently identifies and interprets key elements of contractual agreements to ensure accuracy of the contracts and financial systems. Reviews and processes solicitations, contracts, and modifications. Performs tasks related to contract and subcontract administration. Maintains a keen awareness of requirements and status associated with assigned actions. Manages assigned portfolio efficiently and communicates important points effectively and persuasively with peers, internal leadership, and Enabling Area teams. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Reviews government solicitations and agreements and identifies key terms to determine key contractual and financial requirements.

  • Enters contract and financial data into appropriate forms, databases, and system related to their assigned tasks. Checks existence, accuracy, and completeness of electronic documents related to contract agreements. Accountable for the integrity of the contractual & financial system data.

  • Organizes, stores, and catalogs softcopy proposal/contract materials in accordance with stated policies and procedures.

  • Actively participates in data audits and interacts with other administrators and managers to ensure entry is accurate and other enabling organizations to ensure data is understood.

  • Performs and coordinates completion of contract and subcontract administration tasks such as invoice approval, management of subcontract annual representations and certifications, subcontract plan reporting, etc. Manages to project timelines.

  • Interfaces with the appropriate resources to resolve data discrepancies.

  • Support the update of internal and external policies and regulations as directed that may affect the support to assigned team and communicate impacts to leadership.

  • Performs job-related duties as assigned.

The Team

The Centralized Contracts Team consists of several teams that support important contracts operational activities such as managing financial and contracts systems, ensuring data quality, and performing risk and compliance actions to help with client contracting activity.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to multitask efficiently

  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Ability to travel 10-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

  • Good working knowledge of government acquisition lifecycle

  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate with international and remote teams

  • Experience with Deltek's Costpoint

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000.00-$110,500.00. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
