Google Platforms Partner Lead, Google Marketing Platform (Fixed-Term Contract) in Sydney, Australia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 8 years of experience in SaaS, website analytics, and digital ad platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in meeting or exceeding business goals and maintaining excellent relationships within a book of business.

  • Experience in Technology Sales and Ad Technologies, with an understanding of the SaaS market and key players.

  • Understanding of the industry's issues and established relationships within the digital marketing and analytics industry.

  • Ability to develop and grow executive-level relationships with advertisers, publishers, consultants, and agency partners.

  • Ability to work in a large, fast-moving, complex, and constantly evolving environment.

Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Platforms Partner Lead, you will grow the platforms partner business by developing a strategic approach to the market for an assigned territory and/or account list. You will identify new business opportunities, facilitate a business cycle with many cross-functional dependencies, secure agreements for new partners, and ensure that end clients achieve complete adoption and satisfaction with the platform.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Conduct partner portfolio strategy and planning, including developing partner capabilities adherence to the Google enterprise menu of services.

  • Provide a future proof partner commercialization strategy by supporting the partners' business value proposition in transitioning from license and/or media to service-based business models.

  • Develop opportunities in close collaboration with organizations, focused on both new business acquisition as well as partner-led maturity efforts through joint business plans/joint technical plan delivery.

  • Provide thought leadership on partner servicing, global/regional/local releases of best practices and use cases, and lead similar efforts with partners locally.

  • Establish a user privacy centric data and measurement strategy.
