Boll & Branch Product Coordinator in Summit, New Jersey

Boll & Branch is seeking a Product Development Coordinator who will assist in product-centered, day-to-day operations supporting the Product Development team. The role will deliver tasks that are integral to the product development cycle, including coordinate and complete archiving, organizational, and administrative tasks related to materials, samples, and other project needs. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, process and detail oriented and is motivated by being part of a team that brings best-in-class products to the market. This position will report to the Senior Color Manager.

Responsibilities:

Color Support:

  • Coordinate color-related activities, maintaining documentation, and helping the Senior Color Manager ensure that our products meet the highest standards of color accuracy.

  • Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for color related approvals and other materials.

  • Create and manage shipping labels for outgoing packages, ensuring accurate information and timely delivery.

  • Assist in data entry tasks including updating spreadsheets with color-related information.

  • Provide support in managing bulk standards including swatching, labeling, shipping, logging and tracking data.

  • Assist in organizing samples and materials for presentations and meetings.

  • Maintain cross-functional partnerships with the Design and Product Development teams.

Sample & Fabric Development Support:

  • Assist the product developers and fabric developer in receiving, distributing, logging and organizing submits including technique swatches, fabric quality references, samples and other physical materials related to styles in development.

  • Organize and maintain a library of fabrics and other materials that will serve as reference items to be used by the Design and Product Development teams.

  • Create systems to organize approved products or samples that will help support efficient processes as related to PD materials to serve as a physical record.

  • Create and implement record keeping to track samples/ submits borrowing and/or location movement.

  • Assist in gathering and distributing samples for cross-functional teams for business purposes such as focus groups and photoshoots.

  • Assist in sending out standards, approved samples and other reference materials to domestic and overseas suppliers and partners.

  • Assist in organizing and preparing samples and materials for presentations and meetings.

  • Manage in-coming and outgoing packages

  • Sort and organize items no longer needed for donation, disposal etc.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years professional experience in home textiles and/or product development.

  • Passionate about product development process and building efficiencies.

  • Appreciation for textiles, color and the home industry.

  • Possesses a highly detailed and organized working process.

  • Creative problem solver and self-motivated, with ability to work independently

  • Energetic and positive team player, nimble and flexible in approach with a desire to learn

  • Educational background in soft textiles, home categories a plus.

The primary location for this role is in our Summit, NJ headquarters. It involves working with our physical products so requires the individual to work from the office 5 days per week.

The annual base salary range for this role is $56,000-$85,000. It is important to note that our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size, industry, and the market and are one part of the total rewards that we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, scope of the role, and internal peer benchmarking.
