Sportsman Boats Mfg. is looking for Assembly Associates to work in the finished assembly department to wire, install, motors and cushions, cap, rig, and finish our 20-35 ft center console boats.

What you will do:

• Pull wires, install equipment like Yamaha outboards, Garmin systems, stereo components, navigation systems, other hardware to specification, meeting high quality standards

• Use basic hand tools and power equipment (miter saw, reciprocating saw, drill, driver, etc.) 

• Build T-tops and consoles

• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality

• Follow safety procedures

• Maintain area tools and equipment

• Able to read and interpret manufacturing schedules

• Able to read and understand units of measure

• Physically able to climb in and out of boats 

• Work as a part of a team in a fast paced production environment

• Be challenged and have fun along the way

  To be considered you must have:

• Experience with air, hand, and power tools

• Experience in boating, automotive, electrical, carpentry, or other related field 

• Ability to climb in and out of boats, bend, and stand for up to 8 hours per day
