CACI International needs an energetic IT Operations Manager to advance the Joint Deployable Intelligence Support Systems (JDISS) Program Office.

You will manage the operations functions to include the support, sustainment and deployment of systems and applications, customer training, help desk, Field Engineers, and Logistics support.

You will work closely with the government Operation Manager and manage a team of installers, trainers, customer support and logistic personnel.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provides leadership to a cross-functional team, managing team resource assignments, projected task completion dates, prioritizing activities based on customer requirements and SLAs.

  • Establishes excellent working relationship with customer representatives and support the strategic development approach to client engagement and operational delivery.

  • Monitors and reports overall operations integrity and success

  • Reports to Program Manager on any security, staffing, or resource problems

  • Addresses operational issues with mission partners

  • May draft correspondence, provide senior level briefings and be proactive in providing improvements via automation, proof of concepts to support daily operations and future strategic paths to align to customer growth and sustainment

  • Ensure understanding of JDISS capabilities and the program role within the DoD IC community to foster relationships and increase awareness in bi-directional capacity with the program office and the community and users

  • Coordinates schedules with stakeholder, PMO, and members of the team

  • Facilitate weekly operations meeting with all team members

  • Provide Operations input to the Weekly Activity Report.

  • Assist with recruiting for new and/or backfill positions for the operations team.

  • Represent JDISS at customer sites and community events to include trade shows, conferences, and working groups.

What We Need From You:

  • BS in IT or Technology Management and 7 years of direct experience in application, systems and field support of DOD or IC applications and systems deployed on various platforms, data centers and enterprise IT environments.

  • Hands on experience in functional requirements analysis and applications and software areas for DoD/IC capabilities

  • Hands on experience with system engineering in Windows, RHEL and VMware.

  • Experience deploying software and personnel to both CONUS and OCONUS location and export control requirements.

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Ability to deploy and support teams.

  • Exercises broadly delegated authority to assigned staff and supporting team in planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex projects.

  • Thorough understanding of the assessment, preparation, and implementation of environments and change control activities for complex tasks

  • Possess the ability to work with others to coordinate efforts, resolve cross-team issues and communicate changes.

  • Possess excellent briefing, writing, and communication skills.

  • Organizes and implements the process of evaluating performance against established policies and procedures.

  • Must be detail oriented and organized.

Desired Skills:

  • ITIL v4 Foundation Certification

  • Applicable IT certification (Security +, CASP)

  • DoD Enterprise Service Management Framework

  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of DoD Enterprise IT policies and procedures.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$102,900 - $216,200
