Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate the execution of projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Works with project managers to support project management processes and various aspects of project execution.

  • Tracks metrics including: Cost reductions to projects, continuous improvement activities on projects, and projects team metrics.

  • Gathers information from project managers.

  • Verifies accuracy/correctness of requested/required data.

  • Implements data into standardized formats.

  • Updates the visual management project portfolio and shops capacity and utilization portfolio to ensure accurate, up-to-date data for project management.

  • Aids on a per-project basis in the tracking and capacity management of projects:

  • Runs weekly cost reports on projects and tracks against supplied project budget and updates project managers.

  • Tracks project status against supplied project schedule and updates project managers.

  • Tracks equipment, manpower, and space needs for each project and updates project managers.

  • Tracks parts status for each project and updates project managers

  • Compiles project binders and necessary documentation for handovers to procurement and manufacturing.

  • Inputs requisitions for parts and submits requests to procurement.

  • Requests parts be pulled from inventory.

  • Verifies completion, correctness, and availability of documentation for project.


  • Assists in setting up projects.

  • Compiles project documentation on an as-needed basis.

  • Participates in project closeout process.

  • Aids in resolving parts and assembly issues on an as-needed basis.

  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 2 plus years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Office.


  • Knowledge of ERP and/or MRP systems.

  • Technical knowledge and understanding of hydraulic, electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

  • Technical knowledge of subsea well completion and workover operations.

  • Offshore experience with IWOCS equipment repair, maintenance, and operations.

  • Ability to establish and maintain project priorities. Skill to effectively manage time to meet operational needs and desired outcomes.
