Description

Environmental Tectonics Corporation, a growing, dynamic US Company located just outside of Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Systems Engineer to work in our Aircrew Training Systems division.

The ideal candidate should have a broad understanding of engineering principles and a working knowledge of other related disciplines. Responsibilities will include performing analyses on and participating in the design of ETC’s aircrew physiology training equipment, such as:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage system requirements throughout the product lifecycle

  • Analyze system safety and reliability

  • Facilitate system integration

  • Develop system and subsystem models

  • Develop and execute test procedures

  • Oversee the customer acceptance process

  • Stay abreast of relevant technological developments

  • Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams

  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including specifications and design documents

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

  • Experience (5-10 years) in systems engineering

  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, integration, and verification/validation

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools and methodologies (i.e. MATLAB, Autodesk Inventor, FEA, rigid body dynamics)

  • Ability to read and understand source code

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable solutions

    This is a Full Time 40 hour a week position and also offers opportunity for career progression.
