Actalent Quality Engineer in Sharonville, Ohio

1st Shift: Monday- Friday (Overtime Available!)

Description:

  • Support operations with troubleshooting production quality issues and resolve customer issues

  • Help establish process controls, product test requirements while monitoring product performance

  • Lead failure analysis and corrective action efforts

  • Interpret test results, write reports, and effectively communicate with plant personnel and customers

  • Interface with other Engineering personnel to establish process controls and product test requirements

  • Lead failure analysis and corrective action efforts

  • Maintain appropriate quality records which include, but are not limited to, certifications and treat inspection records

Top Qualifications

  • 2+ Years relevant Quality Engineering experience

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in engineering or manufacturing (in lieu of BS degree having 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience)

  • Experience working with quality management tools (PPAP, APQP, CAPA)

  • Process improvement experience using methodologies such as; Lean Six sigma, 5S, A3, 5D

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive industry experience

  • Experience in using Statistical Process Controls (SPC)

  • Experience with ISO 9001, TS16949
