DCX (Digital Customer Experience) is looking for a creative and strategic UX Content Strategist to play a key role in shaping our clients’ digital experiences. The UX Content Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies and content design that not only aligns with client business goals but also prioritize the needs and preferences of our clients’ users. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that content enhances usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  1. Content Planning: Develop and execute content strategies that align with user needs, business objectives, and brand identity, with a focus on improving the overall user experience.

  2. Content Mapping: Develop content hierarchies, taxonomies, and navigation structures to ensure that content is organized and presented in a logical and intuitive manner.

  3. Content Creation: Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to create clear, concise, and user-friendly content for digital interfaces, including websites, mobile apps, and other interactive platforms.

  4. Microcopy Development: Write and optimize microcopy, including labels, tooltips, error messages, and CTAs, to guide users through the user journey and enhance usability.

  5. SEO and Accessibility: Implement SEO best practices and ensure that content meets accessibility standards to improve discoverability and usability for all users.

  6. Content Testing: Conduct usability testing and content audits to evaluate the effectiveness of content and identify opportunities for improvement.

  7. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key UX metrics, such as bounce rates, time on page, and task completion rates, to assess content effectiveness and identify areas for optimization.

  8. Content Governance: Establish content guidelines, standards, and processes to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with brand guidelines and industry best practices.

  9. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, UI designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that content and design are seamlessly integrated to create cohesive user experiences.

  10. User Research: May conduct user research and analysis to gain insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points, and use these insights to inform content strategy and design decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, English, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX content strategy, UX writing, or related roles.

• Strong understanding of UX principles, user-centered design methodologies, and content strategy best practices.

• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), prototyping tools, and web analytics platforms.

• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and user-friendly content for digital interfaces.

• Knowledge of SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and usability principles.

• Experience with usability testing, user research methods, and data analysis.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
