<p>Our Stylists contribute to the success of Birch Lane by inspiring customers to embrace our Classic Style for Joyful Living. <p><strong>W H AT YO U ’ L L D O</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide an authentic, friendly customer experience that exemplifies our commitment to relentless customer focus; Meet or exceed sales and other established KPIs.</li>
<li>Conduct in-store, in-home, and virtual design appointments.</li>
<li>Leverage your interior design and sales expertise in the home furnishings space to help our customers navigate through their design needs and purchases.</li>
<li>Utilize sales analytics and design software tools and applications to drive store profitability and growth in a way that supports the success of the overall brand (mood boards, space plans, 2D/3D room views)</li>
<li>Share your expertise in product, fabric, & finishes bringing awareness to style, performance, texture, and durability characteristics as well as market trends using digital and physical swatches to influence customer buying decisions.</li>
<li>Demonstrates ability to work independently, including excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and or customers at once.</li>
<li>Participate in operational store activities as needed: bringing new products to the floor, floor sets, replenishment, and substitutions.</li>
<li>Engage in a high-energy, focused, and dynamic work environment where there can be rapid changes in products, promotions, offerings, and operations</li>
<li>Model and ensure all policies and procedures are communicated effectively, maintained, and consistently followed.</li>
<li>Additional responsibilities as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>W H AT YO U ’ L L N E E D</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of sales experience (Interior design, furniture, or home goods experience preferred.)</li>
<li>Understanding of design principles including spatial planning, fabric selection, interior design styles, and trends.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work within a team sales environment.</li>
<li>Strong organization, self-motivation, communication skills</li>
<li>Track record of thriving in a fast-paced and changing environment.</li>
<li>Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or college diploma equivalent preferred.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; regularly climb or balance; and frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly, frequently, or occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.</li>
