Nvidia Senior Software Integration Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles in Santa Clara, California

We are looking for an experienced Senior SW Integration Engineer to join Autonomous Vehicle Planning and Controls team. You will help integrate the state-of-the-art autonomy algorithms in planning and control, ultimately helping to develop our next generation autonomous driving software.

Do you have proven SW integration and SW architecture fundamentals, and a broader understanding in the behavior planning, trajectory planning, active safety, and motion control overall? If so, this may be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support the development related to vehicle motion planning and control and other relevant areas, such as Parking.

  • Improve / create the efficient code merge process to the target codebase.

  • Effectively engaged in planning and control algorithms development and implementation. Understand the SW architecture, design and requirements and ensure overall planning and control performance and capabilities are improving.

  • Actively engaged in P&C issue triage and connect with the development team.

  • Lead hands-on bring-up, integration and team level testing effort.

  • Review, influence, and challenge the algorithm in planning and control with new ideas, and creatively influence the roadmaps across teams.

What We Need To See:

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

  • BS/MS or higher or equivalent experience in robotics, computer science, or related engineering fields.

  • Experience in agile SW development process and delivering SW as a product, preferably in safety-critical applications. Ability to design for reliability and testability.

  • A history of driving projects through the entire development lifecycle.

  • Familiarity with version control and code review tools.

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals.

  • Fluency in C++

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.

  • Strong analysis skills.

The base salary range is 148,000 USD - 276,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
