Google Global Product Activation Lead, Emerging Experiences and Community in San Bruno, California

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.

  • 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders in the technology, gaming, or media industries.

  • Experience in the gaming industry landscape, including key players, trends, and emerging technologies.

  • Experience communicating with Product and Business Development partners, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Product/Engineering teams to build experiences for all users.

  • Experience influencing executives, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of YouTube product/technology, creator ecosystem, and competitive landscape.

  • Ability to effectively influence, communicate, and drive change with Product and Business Development partners, as well as other cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Excellent business sense with excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving/analysis skills.

The YouTube Business Product Activation Team is responsible for bringing product to market and market to product. The team works closely with both business and product leaders to scale adoption of YouTube products across the partner and creator ecosystem. The core capabilities of the team include identifying and prioritizing product activation opportunities across the business, ensuring launch readiness, defining and driving execution on product activation across segments, understanding needs of partners and creators to provide Product teams with market feedback and prioritization to shape product roadmaps, developing content strategy, and tracking performance.

This team ensures YouTube’s long-term success, collaborate with Product teams to advocate for and prioritize the needs of YouTube creators and partners on behalf of the YouTube Business organization, and help drive adoption of products and priorities across segments and verticals. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $221,000-$314,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Be responsible for the overall business strategy. Define and secure Go-to-Market readiness of execution for product launches.

  • Deliver market feedback and gather insights systematically and creatively to inform product strategy and collaborate with Product partners to address top pain points for all users, partners, and creators.

  • Define activation plans, set product objectives and key insights, and develop content strategy across segments/verticals.

  • Partner with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to drive alignment, execution, and overall communication.
