We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Financial Services industry at our location in San Antonio, Texas. The role focuses on the job function of a Staff Accountant which includes reconciliations, GL system entries, analysis.

Responsibilities:

• JE work for MEC

• Download data to the GL system

• Account reconciliation

• research/resolve issues

• Process wire transfers and more

  Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role within the Financial Services industry.

• Proficiency in payroll transaction management is required.

• Experience in commissions accounting is essential.

• Should have the ability to perform reconciliations accurately and efficiently.

• Must have a thorough understanding and experience of working with the General Ledger.

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary.

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

• Must have the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

• Should have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must adhere to all the financial regulations and laws.

• A professional certification such as CPA is preferred.

• Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
