Overview

BRAND NEW ROLE at an established and growing food manufacturing company has been created. They are seeking to add a motivated Logistics Coordinator to their team. Motivated individuals with previous experience with inventory management or ERP systems who would like to be part of establishing and contributing to ground-breaking work in the manufacturing industry, as part of this dynamic team should APPLY ASAP. This is a contract to start but will become a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation providers.

• Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.

• Daily communication to ensure feasible pickup/delivery schedules.

• Complete pick tickets for orders in the inventory system

• Maintain the accuracy of shipping and pickup schedules by recording essential details.

• Follow up with carriers to ensure on-time pickups.

• Track and rectify shipping errors.

• Prepare bills and pick tickets for work orders.

• Develop efficient supply chain processes.

• Execute shipping processes in the ERP for dispatched work orders.

• Manage inventory flow using FIFO costing.

• Maintain inventory management system for product locations and receiving of finished products.

• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts.

  Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics or admin role

• Previous experience with inventory management or ERP system

• High school diploma/GED required

• Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Ability to respond to continually changing priorities
