Schedule: Full Time

Shift : Weekday shifts will be 10:30AM to 9:00AM

Weekend shifts will be 9:00AM to 7:30PM

Schedule will be four, 10-hour shifts. Days will vary based off of departmental needs.

· Largest city near the center of the triangular area defined by the Interstate highways between Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, and Chattanooga, TN.

The role you’ll contribute:

Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders. Supports pharmacists in providing distributive pharmacy services. To provide safe and accurate medication services and to support all those involved in direct patient care.

Pharmacy Operations Actively performs all pharmacy technician functions and maintains active proficiency in:

· Standard work parameters

· Operational programs

· Dispensing and compounding systems

· Hospital computer systems

· Medication ordering systems Develops operational expertise in and actively provides coverage of the technician services listed below:

· Central Pharmacy

· IV Room

· Delivery

· Controlled Substances

· Medication history collection, if applicable

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· High School Grad or Equivalent 0 years experience
