Job Description

An employer is looking for a Director of Data Engineering to join their team in Rockland, MA (3x a week onsite). This person will report into the SVP of Research and Data of a tech start-up and will have 4 direct reports. He/she will be responsible for hands on data aggregation and data pipelining processes as well as oversite of 4 technical resources. This person will analyze and organize raw data, build out systems and pipelines, and interpret trends. This person should have expertise in SQL and Python, and should have cloud experience.

This is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing start-up. This person will have free reign to help build out the technical silo of the research org. This person will be able to grow out a larger team and make a huge impact on the product.

Target Salary- 140-160k

Skills and Requirements

-4+ years of Data Engineering experience

-Experience leading/mentoring a team of junior engineers

-Proficiency in SQL and Python

-Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS Preferred)

-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related

-Strong communication skills -Snowflake

-Experience working at Start-Up

-Master's Degree null
