Duties & Responsibilities


  • Identifying and reviewing requirements and instructions from the Client in regards to Tender and prequalification information required
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to delegate the gathering/collating of required information (HR, Legal, HSE etc.)
  • Taking action to maximise the contribution of own area to the company’s profitability and growth by constantly looking for opportunities to improve business performance; managing business operations to maintain competitive advantage; making cost-benefit decisions and ensuring that target revenues are met or exceeded
  • Reviewing and approving proposal documentation including project costings
  • Establishing, maintaining and managing Client Relationships: internal and external
  • Tracking all ‘live’ proposals and reporting to relevant stakeholders as required
  • Handing over new projects to Project Managers to ensure critical project information is cascaded to Project Team
  • Contributing to the improvement of the bidding process and success rates
  • Defining long term organisational strategic goals
  • Working closely with the General Manager Asset Integrity Australia and Business Unit leaders in identifying and lobbying new Tender opportunities

  • Ensure that the Safety policies and procedures are understood and adhered to so far as is reasonably practicable in order to ensure a safe working environment;
  • Promote a strong HSE culture at all times;
  • Ensure that personnel identify with and achieve, the necessary Health and Safety performance standards associated with the relative risks to personnel and plant in their environment and daily work;
  • Ensure that business and HSE risk implications of integrity issues are clearly identified and assessed for consideration within the Oceaneering Integrity Management Team and communicated to the Client;
  • Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems;
  • Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence regarding the Integrated Management Systems for the Company; and
  • Eliminate waste of whatever form, to suggest the use of more environmentally friendly substances and practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the environment.

Qualifications and Training

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Commerce or similar
  • MBA highly desirable
  • Post graduate or major in Marketing (highly desirable)


  • 5-7 year’s experience in a similar role (e.g. bid coordination, submission or proposal coordination, pricing)
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Experience working effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as peers, staff groups (outside the formal line of authority), senior management, external vendors etc.
  • Experience in identifying and developing productive and strategic customer relationships
  • Excellent computer skills
