What is a typical day as a Guest Relations Manager?

• Arrive and start the day with the proud and collaborative team at the first five star hotel in Perth (14 Mill Street)

  • Professionally wearing the Hilton brand, with the history, traditions, and character of the Parmelia Hilton supporting you
  • Leading the Front Office team and encouraging your fellow Team Members through their duties

• Meet, greet, and direct all of our valued VIP and long-stay guests with the highest customer service

  • Acting as main point-of-contact for these guests and ensuring hotel is prepared to offer appropriate services
  • Briefing relevant hotel departments on requirements
  • Following procedures and ensuring attention-to-detail for all data processing

• Fulfil comprehensive guest assistance and create unforgettable experiences

  • Responding promptly to all guest queries and special requests, offering unique solutions
  • Knowing the hotel's facilities and services, going the extra mile
  • Remaining calm and alert, being helpful to all guests and team members
  • Seeking frequent feedback from guests

• Work with the team and capitalize on the opportunity to thrive with the Hilton family

  • Communicating thoroughly and compassionately, ensuring we work as a supportive team and providing a united front for our guests
  • Operating safely for the best interests of all parties, making smart choices and remaining diligent in our service

Who is our ideal Guest Relations Manager?

• Confident and bubbly personality, with an aptitude for hospitable service, leadership, teamwork, and patience

• Strong English writing/reading/speaking communication, with a bonus for those who are multilingual

• Proficient technology skills and attention-to-detail, with a protection of confidential information

• Ability to work under pressure, act with tactfulness and diplomacy, and manage a variety of situations

• Experience and understanding of the hospitality industry and leadership, recognizing the importance of this role in the guest experience
