Overview ... Lead a newly formed team of software quality assurance specialists who are responsible for executing and evolving a test strategy. The Opportunity ... Set and enforce QA testing standards, policies, and practices Champion quality across the lifecycle, and assist teams in adopting techniques and practices to improve quality and shift left (e.g., risk assessments, root cause analysis, FMEA, coverage analysis, etc.) Ensure the consistent collection of quality metrics across the engineering teams, and periodically analyze quality data and recommend improvements Serve as reporting manager for QA specialists, conduct performance reviews, interviews, and hiring decisions Manage budget for QA resources Oversee testers dedicated to engineering teams, provide hands-on mentorship, and promote cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing Own the testing and quality tools and ensure their appropriate use Define the test automation strategy, and stay abreast of technology and tool innovations to drive higher test coverage for lower effort Why work at JBT ...
