Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing mechanical design, technical analysis and resolution of engineering issues that align with customer and industry requirements. Utilizes knowledge and skills as sound contributor. Organizes and manages multiple concurrent projects.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Responsible for the designs, evaluation and tests new productsProduces and tests functional prototypes from a completed design

• Modifies existing designs to incorporate new technology or functional improvements

• Troubleshoots field related problems and proposes solutions and plans of action

• Approves disposition requests for products manufactured out of specifications

• Guides and coordinate efforts of drafters or technicians

• Works under general guidelines from direct supervisor

• May report to higher-level engineer or to Engineering Manager

• Other tasks as assigned

• Candidate must have the legal right to reside and work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

• Working knowledge of engineering software packages such as AUTOCAD, MathCAD or Autodesk Inventor
