An Electrical Project Engineer is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Oxford, NC area. This role involves managing the development and implementation of equipment within manufacturing plant projects, focusing on electrical automation and controls, while ensuring adherence to project objectives and fostering effective collaboration across teams.

responsibilities:

• Develop electrical and controls system design solutions.

• Create initial electrical design, materials lists, and drawings in AutoCAD.

• Support senior engineers on projects to ensure safe, timely, and budgeted installations.

• Contribute to design and process development for optimal performance and cost-efficiency.

• Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations.

• Promote continuous improvement of plant design in collaboration with Operational Excellence and Technical Office.

• Assist in equipment startup and commissioning.

Skills:

• Experience with piping system design.

• Proficient in reading engineering drawings.

• Knowledge in sizing, specifying, and installing equipment.

• Experience with material handling and pollution control systems.

• Operational site and project execution experience preferred.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 3+ years in industrial manufacturing environment.
