  • Siemens Energy and Siemens Gamesa Business Units. The Ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment, must be a self-starter and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment as well as operate independently.

  • Relocation may be offered for this role should it be necessary

    Responsibilities

  • Define and Implement Commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of services

  • Ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to achieve high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)

  • Monitor the markets worldwide to create a basis for deciding the optimum sourcing strategy and cooperation with the best suppliers

  • Define and implement Procurement strategies (which are not covered by Commodity strategies) based on conducted demand, market and supplier analysis to ensure long-term, cost-efficient and reliable on-time supply of services in the required quality

  • Prepare and conduct negotiations for medium to high Purchasing Volumes to obtain highest feasible savings; Generate, document and implement savings, e.g. CNI

  • Contract creation and management.

  • Plan, monitor and report on relevant KPI to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent

  • Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers (requisitions) to ensure customer care and early involvement

  • Support Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification)

  • Update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency

  • Procurement activities for medium to high Purchasing Volumes (PVO).

    Required Knowledge, Education, Experience and Skills

  • You have excellent communication skills with a strong command of English written and verbal.

  • You have 7+ years of experience in either Indirect Material or Direct Material Procurement

  • Professional excel knowledge. ( Advance Office Package)​

  • T ender negotiations experience

  • You will be willing and able to travel up t0 50%
