Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Controls Technician to join thier team. Responsibilities include:

-Provide high technical skills for installing new controls, troubleshoots and repairs existing controls.

-Perform independent analysis of building automation systems (BAS)

-Program, develop, install, repair, replace and recalibrate BAS controllers, terminal devices and ancillary components to maintain continuously commissioned HVAC BAS controls

-Perform control device troubleshooting, repairs and replacement which includes relays, sensors, actuators, airflow stations, BTU meters, and utility meters

-Provide technical support to Controls Specialist I's

-Provide programming development support for Energy Services retro commissioning projects

-Provide programming and development support for HMI visualization

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Controls Technician with digital building control system knowledge in large, modern, commercial or Government office buildings in operations and maintenance.

Proficient in the use of at least one of the following Building Management Systems software: Trane, DELTA, ALC preferred, will accept JCI and Siemens

Experience with Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS): AIM (preferred), MaintainX, UpKeep, or Maximo

Ability to read and understand printed process, circuit, and electrical schematics HVAC Technician Certification EPA Clean Air Section 608. null
