Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174-bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults. Position Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the CFO, the Controller has overall responsibility of general accounting functions, supervising Accounts Payable, Payroll and Purchasing Functions.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for Month end close binder. Prepares journal entries as assigned by the CFO

• Prepares reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts

• Verifies and balances daily cash receipts, ensuring errors are corrected timely

• Prepares month FAS submission

• Prepares annual tax package and ensures compliance with 1099 reporting

• Assists CFO with annual budget process

• Participates in daily operations and management meetings

• Provides information in response to ad hoc corporate accounting requests

  Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Accounting required

• Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience required

• Excellent communication skills

• Basic clerical skills and ability to problem solve
