What you'll be doing...

The Operations Support Senior Manager will support the VP of Marketing, Value Brands. As a gatekeeper, operator, implementer, integrator, advisor and strategist, you will ensure streamlined activities within the organization based on the priorities of the VP. You will be an integral part of the Value Marketing leadership team, play a key role in navigating complex business and management challenges, and collaborate across a variety of business partners. Effective use of everyone's time should be the lens through which many decisions are made in this role. You are responsible for supporting the VP but also leading a wide variety of functions including strategic planning, executive advisory, executive support, and project management.
Owning specific projects on behalf of the VP.

  • Working across organizations and business units to deliver recommendations the organization can execute effectively.

  • Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to the VP and assisting in facilitating effective decision making.

  • Participating in key meetings in conjunction with or on behalf of the VP to provide directional insight and work with key stakeholders within and outside the organization to drive initiatives.

  • Managing the day to day operations for the office of the VP overseeing and directing all activities, acting as a liaison with direct and indirect reports and gatekeeping to prioritize information needs and flow.

  • Managing the project portfolio for the organization.

  • Promoting accessibility between the VP and their teams.

  • Building positive client relationships during projects, assessing the needs of the organization, identifying customer requirements, and developing cohesive projects that improve the culture and operations of the business through more effective programs and events.

  • Working with cross-functional teams to deliver business-impacting initiatives while providing analysis and routine updates to senior leadership teams.

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will be based out of Basking Ridge, as listed in the posting, with the ability to adhere to a hybrid schedule which aligns to VCG in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday).

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience including leadership experience.

  • Sales, operations, marketing, or business analytics experience.

  • Experience managing large complex projects involving multiple work streams and stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree (ideally, in project management).

  • Certification in PMP and/or MSP.

  • Written and verbal communications skills.

  • Ability to facilitate presentations effectively.

  • Capability to be motivated and influence teams to deliver outcomes and results.

  • Experience working alongside senior leaders.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $97,000.00 and $180,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
