Inspections Engineer/Office Engineer - Mon.-Fri., 7:00am-4:00pm. Local travel to client sites (commuting distance of office) required. Perform daily field inspections of construction work done by contractors to ensure conformance with drawings/designs & NYSDOT specifications. Enforce work zone traffic control, maintenance, protection and safety (OSHA) protocols. Prepare field inspection reports, enter concrete, soil samples and material certifications using the AASHTOWare Project Site Manager. Update, process, distribute and track project transmittals, RFIs, change orders and other critical documentation. Review and verify critical path method schedules and drawings.Requirements: Master’s degree in Construction Engineering Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering or a closely related field. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in in Project Management/Coordination.
