Aerotek Electronics Technician in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Pay:

$20-24/hour, depending on experience.

Description:

Candidate will be responsible for the repair of electronic components including but not limiting to: diodes, transistors, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and circuit boards. Responsible for diagnosing the issue of the product and repair it.

Will be repairing locomotive electronics. Will work with a wide variety of sensors, circuit boards and other equipment. Test, troubleshoot and repair complex digital and analog circuits down to the component level with quality. Use of standard test equipment such as oscilloscope, multi-meters, signal generator and frequency counter to repair and test.

Soldering components (through-hole and surface mount)

Responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels of components needed to repair products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Understand Electronic Technology, basic soldering understanding, able to troubleshoot, debug, tinker

Understanding of electronic circuitry

Understand of analog and digital electronic components and their functions

Mechanical and soldering experience

Self starter and ability to work independently

Experience with Arduino, Rasperry PI, IOT devices, writing or using programming languages

Ability to design and build text fixtures or circuits
