Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a Project Civil Water/Wastewater Engineer for their Miami office.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for technical production and design of multiple civil infrastructure improvements for private and public sector projects. Duties include technical supervision of CAD technician(s), preparation of construction drawings and specifications, cost estimating, preparation of technical reports, analysis and design of water distribution plus sanitary sewer collection, pump stations and sewage transmission and paving, grading & drainage systems using applicable design software programs, permitting and construction phases of all projects assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited college/university.

• 2+ years of experience in design of civil infrastructure systems (Water & Wastewater Distribution, Collection, Transmission Systems)

• Excellent written and oral communications skills required.

• State of Florida Engineer Intern (E.I.T.) preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of the Civil Infrastructure regulatory and approval process in South Florida

• Ability to quickly become thoroughly familiar with City, MD-WASD, Miami-Dade RER, HRS and other agencies

• Water and Sewer Design and Construction standards.
