JBT Corporation Field Service Engineer - DF&H in Mexico, United States

Responsibilities About the Job We are looking for someone in the Mexico, preferably the Puebla area, who will work on our technology. We need an individual to install, maintain and repair this piece of equipment which requires a high level of mechanical, automation, and food processing experience. This is where you come in! We need people who can install, service, and maintain our equipment to keep it running at top operating efficiency. To be successful in this position, you will need to: Provide basic training and advance training Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems and makes appropriate repairs or recommendations for repairs to clients. Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs of equipment; is available for customer care at short notice. Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment with the coordination of clients, such as equipment inspections and small repairs. Provide advisory services during equipment install, service and repair visits by instructing third parties and performing quality reviews to ensure that quality standards are being met. Coordinate contractor work at customer sites. Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical CAD drawings, P&ID’s, and flow schemes Accurately prepare and submit inspection reports, service reports, time sheets, and expense reports in a timely manner to Service Coordinator or Service Manager. All reports should be done on a weekly basis. Inspect assembled equipment, to ensure proper installation. Inspect all operating parts to ensure proper operation within expected tolerances. Maintain inspection records of equipment; determining trends affecting equipment and assessing how to make corrections. Recommend equipment modifications to eliminate future performance problems. Advises client on replacement part orders. Clearly and professionally interact with customer, regarding status of commissioning, on a daily basis. Take and respond to customer service, emergency, and breakdown calls during business hours. Could be asked to take calls after hours on occasions. Provide technical expertise running bottle and machine validations through FDA authorities in United States. Troubleshoot when problems occur at a customer’s site during installation and commissioning. This position is considered a safety sensitive position, thus employee may be subjected to randomized drug testing. Qualifications Travel Requirements: Approximately 80% Required Qualifications: Advance electrical and mechanical skills, minimum 5 years of experience 2 year degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering, or technical degree Proficient personal computer skills including e-mail, recordkeeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics etc. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
