Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Team Lead, ensures assigned work is completed per requirements; Retains and applies relevant knowledge to accomplish tasks in one or more of the following functional areas: Warehousing, Saw/CNC, Fab, Assembly, Glazing, Bunking; Complies with all Company and Safety-related policies and procedures. 

Duties & Responsibilities

Technical Skills

• Demonstrates job knowledge that is consistent with experience.
• Looks for opportunities to learn additional skills.

Production

• Actively participates in training and retains knowledge e.g., does not ask the same question repeatedly.
• Listens intently to work instructions and daily goals.
• Meets productivity requirements consistent with experience.

• Exhibits pride in quality and accuracy of work Safety.

Safety

• Complies with all safety regulations including PPE.
• Works to prevent accidents and unsafe working conditions.

• Demonstrates the ability to solve problems consistent with experience.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able or willing to learn how to read & use measuring equipment.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary to meet production requirements.
• Manufacturing Experience preferred.
• Experience in reading drawings and blueprints preferred.
• Able to listen and follow directions.
• Works well under the pressure.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and /or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift (at least 10 hours).
• Ability to periodically work overtime to support the cyclical nature of the business (may entail a shift longer than 10 hours).
• Ability to squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift. Must be able to push and pull up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 30 lbs. frequently, up to 50 lbs. occasionally and over 50 lbs. with a two-person lift.
• Exposure to noise and moderate but varying temperatures, humidity and other elements in warehouse environments.
