Job Description

As a Contractor Senior Design Engineer - Airframe, you will be responsible for providing conceptual and detail designs of primary and secondary structural aircraft components. You will work with and coordinate with a team of engineers within an assigned project on uncrewed aerial vehicles, modification of existing aircraft structures, and design-to-build activities for commercial and military aircraft. You will work with composite and metallic primary and secondary structures, mechanical system components, and electrical/avionics systems component installations.

Skills and Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering preferred

 · Minimum of 10 years' work experience in the aerospace industry

 · Proficiency in CATIA V5, with a focus on Generative Surface Design, Part Design, and Assembly

 · Familiarity with industry standards for aerospace composite components

Experience with product data management systems such as StarTeam or Enovia LCA/PDM Familiarity with GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and tolerance analysis capabilities null
