Description

Position Summary: The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the human resource information system (HRIS) for over 1500+ employees in two companies.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Collect and analyze data to improve HR strategies and processes.

  • Take the initiative to identify, recommend, configure, and test HR system updates and enhancements.

  • Suggest ways to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department.

  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.

  • Conducts audits to ensure data integrity.

  • Manages user accounts and permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.

  • Serves as a lead representative and liaison between HR, Information Technology Department (IT), external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation

  • Partners with the IT department to create new functionalities for the HR system.

  • Generates reports on key metrics such as demographics and compliance.

  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.

  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

Associates degree required, bachelors degree preferred in HR, Information Systems or a related field of study. Minimum two years HRIS experience preferably in a Human Resources setting. Good interpersonal skills. Familiarity with a personal computer. Typing 40 - 45 WPM. Organizational skills and ability to prioritize essential.
