Position Summary

Operates and answers multiline phone 24/7 and directs callers to appropriate personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL
  • Answers multiline phone 12 hours a day, 7 days a week while on shift.

  • Logs in all calls (incoming/outgoing), maintains information on each call and crews.

  • Dispatches calls to offshore sites, clients, ops mgrs., logistics, and on call personnel.

  • Relays work orders, messages, and information to appropriate personnel.

  • Prepares a report on all activities occurring on their shifts for their relief.

  • Monitors security cameras for the facility grounds.

  • Coordinates hot shots for logistic needs (personal/equipment).

  • Runs work related errands for the company as needed.

  • Cleans and maintains inside of company vehicles.

  • Assigns, documents, and tracks assigned company vehicles and equipment.

  • Complete vechicle readinee checklist on all company vechicles.

  • Keeps building stocked with supplies, (coffee, paper for copiers).

  • Assists cleaning crew and making sure the building is maintained.

  • Assist electronic shop in making cables and restocking kits.

  • Performs other duties and tasks as needed.

    NON-ESSENTIAL

  • Loads gear for jobs when necessary.

  • Gathers supply list for jobs when necessary.

Qualifications

REQUIRED
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

  • One (1) year related switchboard experience.

  • Able to work 12 hours and rotating schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).

  • Valid US driver's license.

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Basic electronic and soldering Iron skills.

  • Able to operate a forklift and maintain company certification.

  • Must be able to acquire a TWIC card.

    DESIRED

  • Two (2) to Four (4) years related switchboard experience preferred.

  • CISCO IP Phone experience

  • Oracle (PeopleSoft) experience a plus.

Additional Information

This position is considered SHOP/INDOORS which is characterized as follows:

  • Primarily indoors during the day and occasionally at night.

  • Frequently working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment.

  • Humidity is frequently above 90%.

  • Noise is over 85 decibels.

  • Light is intense/glare.

  • Occasional exposure to open fire/flames/sparks.

  • Frequent exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.

  • Work surface is stable.

  • Constant exposure to dust.

This position is considered HEAVY work.

OCCASIONAL

  • Lifts 50-100 pounds.

  • Works in confined spaces, kneels, jumps, runs, and works while lying on his stomach/back, crawls and uses repetitive movements of the arms and hands.

  • Differentiates between colors.

  • Wears PPE for skin protection.

  • Eye protection.

FREQUENT

  • Lifts 25-50 pounds.

  • Wears PPE for head, hands.

  • Climbs stairs/ladders, stands, balances, stoops, squats, reaches, and lifts/carries objects.

  • Twists, sits with back supported, head forward/flexed, head tilted/rotated.

  • Works with arms extended below the waist, unsupported, elbows flexed, wrist supported and unsupported.

CONSTANT

  • Lifts 10-20 pounds.

  • Stands and walks.

  • Wears PPE for body, vision, and hearing protection.

  • Operates a motor vehicle.

  • Steel/safety toed shoes/boots.
