Do you love working with new products and helping deploy them in customer sites? Do you enjoy traveling for work? We are seeking an individual with a real passion for providing pre-sales support, startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning services for our commercial bathroom clients. Experience with IoT devices (Internet of Things), WiFi/BLE/Ethernet/ RF infrastructure (switches, fiber optics, router, modems etc.) is desired. Familiarity with building management systems is a plus.

Specific Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Engineer in Electronics – Field Application you will:

  • Visit prospective job sites to assist in product and system specifications.

  • Perform field commissioning procedures for installed IoT systems to include inspection, testing, and documentation of results.

  • Act as the field service engineer on assigned open tickets and work in collaboration with sales, customer care and engineering staff members.

  • Trouble shoot site issues (including IT network connectivity) and work with Kohler IT & Engineering to resolve.

  • Be part of a highly multi-functional global team that works together to bring products to market that lead our industry and delight our customers.

  • Participate in Technical Design Reviews contributing sound professional opinions, be the voice of the customer, creative ideas, concepts, and approaches to new product design and development projects.

Skills/Requirements

  • Willingness to be hands-on.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Critical thinking.

  • Love for all-things commercial bathrooms

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.

  • A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in building IT networks (Ethernet, WiFi, Switches, routers, gateways, etc.).

  • Willingness to travel 30-50%.

The salary range for this position is $89,800 - $114,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
