This successful company is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their ranks as an Accounts Payable Clerk. We're looking for a candidate who wants to take their career to the next level. You're a good fit for this Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position is you can match, batch and code invoices, resolve Accounts Payable issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. This is a great opportunity to work at a dynamic organization with a growing team. The Accounts Payable Clerk role is a permanent position based in the Kansas City, Missouri area.

Your responsibilities

• Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

• Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

• Facilitate internal and external audits as needed

• Handle the administrative needs of the Accounts Payable / Finance Department

• Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

• Perform special projects as assigned

• Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

• Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

• Operate full-cycle Accounts Patable

  Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

• Proven knowledge of Major ERP System

• Knowledge of High-Volume Invoicing

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience

• Payment Processing experience

• Proficiency in High-Volume Invoicing

• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Strong organization skills
