What you will do

In this role, you will position and sell licenses for Data Management, Balance Sheet Management, Profitability Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Basel, IFRS9 Reporting, AML, and Financial Crime Compliance to customers in the South Africa Development Community (SADC).

  • Ability to generate a pipeline for the assigned solution portfolio in the designated region

  • Delivery license revenue as per targets across Risk & Finance and Financial Crime Compliance solutions in the assigned region

  • Build a deep and active engagement model with Prospects & Clients.

  • Creating a tailored ‘case for transformation’ and solution proposal with a supporting argument for each opportunity

  • Sales lead generation and pipeline management including periodic reporting as requested by the manager.

  • Leverage collaboration across the larger ecosystem of extended Oracle teams, partners, and industry players (consultants, industry groups, analysts, etc) to achieve the sales objectives defined above.

Desired Experience

  • Seasoned software sales professional with an understanding of the BFSI Industry.

  • Prior experience in positioning solutions that address business requirements for Data Management, Balance Sheet Management, Profitability Management, Enterprise Risk Management as well as Accounting and Regulatory Reporting, Financial Crime and Compliance (AML, Customer Screening, Transaction Filtering, KYC, Investigation and Reporting)

  • Experience in shaping and developing significant investment initiatives/projects of $US 0.5M and upwards, including business case development, detailed solution scope, implementation approach and plan, etc.

  • Deep knowledge of the assigned region’s banking and insurance industry is vital.
